Documentation and registration are an important part of life in the Netherlands.
On arrival in the Netherlands you will need to go to the Foreign Police to apply for a Residence Permit. You will also need to register with the Local Council. And register with the IND, Immigration and Naturalization Services.

Obtaining a Dutch driver's license
If you want to drive a car or motorcycle in the Netherlands you must have a valid driving licence. Your foreign driver’s license is valid for 185 days only, after this period you will need to apply for a Dutch driving license.
Importing a vehicle
Before driving on Dutch roads each imported car must have a Dutch registration number. The Hague Relocation can help you with this application.
Parking permit
You will need a parking permit in most of the residential areas in The Hague. The Hague Relocation will be happy to obtain one for you.
